for reasons of compatibility with .OGM file, for example?

I know that this version is old, but until now, I not seen a version to open .OGM video files.

The latest version of the Matroska input plugin support Theora video, it was already supporting Vorbis audio.
This should cover almost all .ogg/.ogm files (after remuxing them to mkv).

Hi, ale5000

After I have tryed to open a Theora video ".ogg" in VirtualDubMod, and the program crashed. Then I have decided to demux, using direct stream for both audio and video, and try to open with Matroska Input Plugin using ffmpeg-18639 win32 CLI, according of one tutorial:

http://forum.doom9.org/archive/index.php/t-134350.html

More in:

http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...l=ffmpeg&st=285

Message in VirtualDub:

http://s13.postimage.org/5842bl26v/problem_decompressor.png

Syntax utilized:

ffmpeg -i How_fast.ogg -vcodec copy -acodec copy Output.mkv

I want to know if the audio is really "0x566F"?

I thank return,
L.H.V.F.

@L.H.V.F.:
For remuxing it is a lot simpler with MKVtoolnix.

With Vorbis audio you are limited in Direct Stream Copy (since there isn't an ACM codec); so you can't convert audio but you can still cut.
For Theora video instead you can do everything.

Hi, ale5000

Is possible to convert Vorbis audio in windows. The procedure utilized would be to use FFmpeg to demux, (I use these win32 build - FFmpeg, but there are front-ends/GUIs for the same - http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ffmpeg), via CLI, and demuxed for the Matroska, without loosing quality, I can convert it to 'wave audio', using Foobar2000. Then in VirtualDub is possible to use 'audio from other file...' dialog, and process the video.

Page of reference:

Foobar2000

Thanks,
L.H.V.F. .

Hi, ale5000

You have forgotten the link (same source) of the x86 version (32 bits) of the "Experimental QuickTime Plugin" by fccHandler in the list.

Thanks,
L.H.V.F. .

Hi, ale5000

I had confused the "fccHandler plugin" with the "tateu's QuickTime modded version" (this last mentioned, removed from the list). Why don't you let also the updated version of "tateu's QuickTime plugin modded version" in this list? I consider your mod, but in this Forum, there are others mods (and the original) previously done.

Thanks,
L.H.V.F. .

Nothing is missing, if you follow the link of the mod you can see that there is the mod and the original one.

Hello all,

All the fcchandler links are returning a page that is "Temporarily Disabled". These files wouldn't happen to be mirrored somewhere would they?

Thanks in advance,

Travis

Not a mirror site, but you can find copies of fccHandler's plugins on it:

You can search (Szukaj) on keywords to find what you need (like for example wmv // or aac ; quicktime ; plugin ; virtualdub ; ...).
