Dear friends,

I am used to work with a virtualdub logo filter(plug-in) that also lets me make transparence, but it only works with videos/ films until 640x480 size. So, what I have done, is resize (reduce) my videos / films that are over this, apply the filter, and then resize back again to the original size. But I wouldn't like make this resizes anymore. So, for now, I am trying to use the internal logo filter (plug-in), that seams to work with large videos / films , by I don't know if we can make transparence with it. :-(

Sinc.,

J.Júlio

I am sorry Neuron2. It really did work. I think that this was occuring in another virtualdub version.

Sorry neuron2, but I got an error now:

Oops -- VirtualDub has crashed. Details are listed below which may help you pinpoint the problem. If a third party driver is implicated, try using another driver and see if the problem goes away. For reproducible problems in VirtualDub itself, use "Save..." and email the problem report to <phaeron@virtualdub.org> along with a description of what you were doing.

---- Crash details (best guess as to cause)--------------
An out-of-bounds memory acess (access violation) occurred in module 'Logo"...while running filter ''logo (1.3 beta4)'' (FilterSystem.ccp:516).

The BMP isn't bigger then the video. I was making 2 videos at the same time, and now I will try by once. The error occurs in the middle of the process when I am doing nothing. During the process I use the VirtualDub and the TmpgEnc. I serve a *.vdr file through the virtualdub's server to the tmpgenc program.

The version of VirtualDub you are using seems to have been built by a third party, as the disassembly is different than my archived EXE and the build paths are wrong. Can you reproduce with an official build?

The crash log that was posted also doesn't match the original error description. I tracked it down via a brute-force disassembly search -- it's the 16-bit YCbCr-to-RGB converter used by the old MPEG-1 decoder, which crashed trying to read the Y plane. That's really hard to do. I also wonder why it's not using the MMX path.
