Hello
I am trying to recode a few mpg files that has lots of flicker and the best filter I have found so far is Avisynths fluxsmooth. I would prefer to use only VirtualDub so I have been trying to find a similar filter, but no luck so far.
Does anyone know if there are any similar filters that work in VD, or if it is possible to import avisynth filters to VD?

High frequency flickering all over the screen, big changes between every frame. Mostly in the luminesence, color is suprisingly stable. Very grainy, but encoded with high bitrate so there are almost no blocking.

Are you saying that this high freq. pattern is only in the capture? What happens if you capture at 352x480 or 720x480?
Can you post some frames?
