Hi, I'm trying to process some Mini-DV format video files and when I play the source file in VirtualDub after importing it there are a HUGE amount of artifacts. Saving as an AVI retains those artifacts. These source files play fine on my PC and WD TV Live. Any ideas? Thanks! |

I downloaded the old obsolete "VirtualDub MPEG2" and that works fine.
BTW I was using the latest 64 bit versions of VirtualDub and the MPEG2 plugin. |

Post a video where the problem happens (possibly small), so maybe the author of the plugin can fix the problem.

The source files are fairly big and not mine to share publicly - if the author of the MPEG2 plugin wants to check out the issue I'd be happy to provide him one of the files. |

The author is fccHandler => http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...Profile&MID=280
PS: Try if the problem still happens with the latest tset version of VirtualDub and the MPEG-2 input plugin. Try also the 32-bit version to be sure that the problem isn't specific to 64-bit version.
