Need Radial-gradient Sharpening Filter

Odd requirement here...

I have a ContourHD which takes a 135 deg wide-angle shot. This results in considerable barrel distortion, which I use Barrel Distortion Correction to flatten quite effectively into a wide, panoramic shot.

The minor problem is that the original footage has a slight blur at the more extreme angles, and the Barrel Distortion Correction process stretching adds an additional blurring to the more extreme angles.

I can Sharpen the image with a number of filters, but it doesn't need any sharpening in the center. It needs progressively more sharpening as the distance from the center increases to be "right". Otherwise, any value I pick for Sharpening is oversharpened in the center and/or undersharpened furthest from the center.

It occurs to me I need a filter which applies Sharpening in an increasing radial gradient from the center. Does any such filter exist, or is there any odd way of applying other filters to do this?
