This is the thread for the modded version of the tateu's QuickTime plugin.
Consider it beta.

- More clear message when the QuickTime framework is missing

- Added the possibility to compile a 64-bit build (only for vc8 and vc9)
Note: Currently can't be used since the QuickTime SDK don't support 64-bit on Windows

- Now it open also these extensions: .3g2 .qt .mp4v .m4a .m4r (and some other annoying extensions used by Apple)
- Minor changes

- Now it appears also under Audio => Audio from other file...
- Now it open also these extensions: .hdmov .nsmov .m4v .f4v .3gp .3gpp
- In File => File Information... now it say "QuickTime" instead of "AVI"

Note: If you open a .f4v file with the H.264 decoder enabled in ffdshow VFW it will crash, if you disable it then it will work. x264vfw is ignored completely.

I tried reading an MOV file using this plugin, and only the first half of the movie appears to be available to VirtualDub. Any idea when this could be fixed?

I'm not the author (I just made minor changes) and the author have stopped working on it, so if there isn't any voluntary developer noone will fix it.

I'd like to get back to it someday...I use the AviSynth version and so I kind of forgot to try and keep the VirtualDub version up to date. |

@tateu: I'm glad that you are still interested in it, the most important thing that should be done is to make it compatible with ffdshow-tryout and x264vfw for the H.264 format.

ProRes files created by FFMPEG can't be loaded with the plugin.
QT has no issues. Can this be corrected?

Probably you will have better results with this plugin: http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...=ST&f=7&t=20317
Try if it works with your files and report back in the thread.
