What's the best filter for removing transparent logos?

The only one i could get to work was DeLogo, which wasn't that accurate (I suppose the compression artifacts weren't much help) and created some artifacts and colour problems which were arguably worse than the logo itself.

I need one which is specifically designed for transparent logos, which will attempt to deblend them and nothing more.
