For me to hard explain, but I will try. I did VCD with TMPEnc, and use VirtualDub frame server. VirtualDub was doing resize and put subtitles in letterbox.(Thats because I was use it, when TMPEnc did this, then subtitles were in picture, but not in letterbox. )
Problem is next, when I shaw preview from VirtualDub, then there, where joined letterbox and picture, was line of white spots. It will appears, until 5 minutes from beginning, and will stay till the end of movie. One more thing, it depends from resizeing, example- when original movie was 640x272 and I resizeing to 400x240 then, spots is'nt, but then TMPEnc will add letterbox size, and subtitles will be little in picture again. When I resize with VirtualDub to 352x240, then spots are more, and if I tried 340x240, then it was very ugly to see. |

Are the spots on the left side of the frame by any chance?

They are almoust in full lenght from left side to right side. They are'nt move. When they appeare, they staying until the movie ends. No any principle I was'nt saw. In different movies are they in different quantity and shape. But they are always in that line where black letterbox and picture joined. Maybe more simplier, when I could send some *.jpg file about this? |
