is it a good idea to use the smart deinterlacer filter and the deinterlacer map filter together? if so, which should go first? Also should you use these types of filters if you use the "reconstruct from fields-adaptive
"setting under frame rate?




next ?: how do you get the background to be clear? My movies look good except the background, its a little blurry. I've tried the sharpen filter but no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I came up with my own solution by trial and error. I just changed the max. quantizer to a higher value and the picture looks great w/ divx 5.02.
