Hi to all. I have a Terratec Cinergy 600 tv card and I installed VirtualDub 1.6.4 that can handle WDM drivers to record tv at 720x576. It works fine, but I have this problem:
Every time I start virtualdub, I must go to Tuner settings and select antenna instead of cable to select some tv channel. Is there a way to save this setting? And also it could be useful to order the channel after the auto scan.
Thanks Francesco |

Nope, you can't save antenna/cable yet; I had hoped that the drivers would do that themselves but that's apparently not the case. I need to add some way to save arbitrary settings since I can't push them all out to the UI. |

Than is there any registory location that I can change?
I have a Videomater card and a PCTV card. Both gives me the same problem as frank10. I managed to find the location for the country code but not for antenna/cable settings. |

when i first installed virtualdub 1.6.4 all tuner settings were ok, then i installed powervcr ii 3 and virtualdub had the same problem (tuner-settings always forgot the cable/antenna setting) when i uninstalled powervcr the problem was still there.
but fortunatly i used the program easyclean before installing powervcr: this program backups the registry and saves a dirlist of all files on your harddisk. after the install you can now compare all settings and list the changes made in the registry/harddisk.
i recoverd all registry-changes made by install/uninstall of powervcr using easyclean... and guess what....
virtualdub has no more this problem...
the compare result of the regsitry is about ~390kb big... so i can not post it here. but i think its a config-problem of a other program...
i hope it helped... |
