hello everyone, i have borrowed a gamebridge capture card from my friend, and he said he wanted to sell it so i asked to try it out..well i had no luck with it whatsoever. since i am using vista, and he said he never got the cd for it, not only did i spend an hour or so finding the drivers and software, i needed to burn it on a cd to install it, and after all that, intervideo home theater had not recognized video!!! - i gave up because i searched all over the internet and found no answer. now i have been looking at a new capture card to find and i found a video of a person about virtual dub, and so far it had been a further accomplishment than the other program. now heres my problem...i am in virtual dub using a capture card called Gamebridge, trying to record my xbox 360 - and what happens is - i heard audio, i see video...but not only is the video grayscale, i also see 2 screens!! so basically i have 2 xbox screens that do the same thing, adn they are EXTREMELY small. id love to record my videos, and id love for it to be in color and one screen. thanks for any help!

p.s. - since my computer screen is my tv screen as well, is there a way to make it full screen recording? 32" is very big and a smaller format would be very hard to get used to - thanks for all the help i can get

I'm confused: you said you couldn't get the GameBridge to work, and then you did...?

I'd heard that there were some problems with getting the GameBridge to work in Vista, although I'd never tried it myself. It works decently well in XP.

One common cause of problems is having the input set to S-Video and plugging in a composite source, or vice versa. The luminance pin is usually shared between the two, so you'll still get an image, but with severely distorted colors. You have to select the right connector in Video > Video Source.
