I make my movie with Premiere (PRO-ONE video card). It's in .avi file. 1,5 hour = 20GB. I try to put my movie in DIVX format with virtualdub. Sometimes I can make perfect DIVX, but now I can't make it. When compressed file is 67MB big, virtualdub stop compressing. Does anyone have a solutions for my probem? |

avi files should not be larger than 2 GB, if you have ONE file at the size of 67 GB VDub may have problems with the encoding. I dont know Premiere, maybe there is a split function that allows you to record files until they are 1,9 GB and then start a new file (it is called Multisegment Capture in VDub) Just search in the program and try

DV can be arbitrary size. AVI has a 2GB limit.
If Premiere co-operates, try using the Avisynth frameserver plugin. |
