I have a problem when adding subtitles to video using virtualdub 1.3c . While processing I get the message in the frameserver box: Non A/V request: "36". What does it mean? The result is that when converting from DivX to (S)VCD - avi to mpeg, using TMPGEnc subtitles do not appear in video. I use SSAlpha for scripts, extracted subtitle filter in V.dub plugins, installed handler, have no problems with opening .vdr but the message: Non A/V request: "36" and no subtitles in video. Thanks for help in advance. Arek |

The non-a/v requests are not usually something to worry about. That you're not getting subtitles is probably caused by the video processing mode being something other than "full processing mode". |

The thing is that I set video to "full processing mode". In the prewiev of virtualdub there are subtitles but there aren't when I start processing with TmpgEnc |

First upgrade your version of VD Then, what filter are you using? Have you tried VobSub? |
