Hi there you lot
i am trying to put 2 cd videos on to 1 cd to save space i decompress the audio and save as .wav then add avi then avi segment then load the audio in and set up the full prossessing mode to 128 kbps CBR lame mp3 then sett up the video full prossessing mode sett compression to Xvid codec and the KBPS the Caculator says then save as avi 25% of the way though i gett this
 i get this on vertualdub and nandub can anyone help me please thanks in advance |

There is a corruption in one of the frames of your source files. Try using "Scan video stream for errors" from the Video menu. I've never had to use it myself, but I gather it gives you a list of frames that cannot be decoded properly and masks them so they are no longer processed. Then, you should be able to save your AVI properly.

Well thanks for your advice but it picked up the bad frames but them i started to rencode it it still had the same error |

Try manually masking the bad frames. Use the "Go to" function in the edit menu and enter the number of the bad frame. Then, choose "Mask selected frames" from the edit menu. Repeat for each bad frame. |

Doesn't the scanning process give you a list of frame numbers? If not, check where your encode failed the last time. |

No, it does not. In fact, I have never seen any version do that. I would be very helpful |
