Job Control, Setting an Automatic Capture Script

Just got the VD program, and I am really impressed with all the functions for it. I really like the job control scripting and abilty to run a script from the command line.
However, I am having troble createing a script that will automatically begin a capture process from the video camera I have set up.
The only script I can seem to make will copy one avi file to another avi file, not create a new avi file from the video input.

Can anyone help me, or send me a script to use?
