Hi everyone, zelda movie maker here.

Many technical questions still stand in my way, however I'd like to add moving mouths to charaters that don't speak in zelda ocarina of time. (read the site if you'd like to know -why-)

So I am dubbing voices with people from all over the world, plus some friends and removing the text from the game as well. (these are two completly separate issues, the dubbing not hardly being one at all since that's going well)

But with the dubbing I want to have movie mouths, kinda anime/southpark style. The mouth only has to do a few shapes, "-", "/", "o", "O" etc, all simple kinda shapes. (kind of like the "fill with colour" rectangle filter)

So does a filter exist to add (black) triangles to video? And then I'll have to make them bob up and down and change quite fast to match the person speaking. (another tough task)

Any ideas?

You might want to visit my own forums about this, and the relevent topic,
http://pub37.ezboard.com/fthezeldamovieboa...topicID=3.topic and also yell things like "it can't be done" and "you're doing it all wrong!"

So hope someone can help!

Take a look at Macromedia Flash. It might do it better for you if you got the dough. Then there is that other path to get it if you are cash or morals poor. I am not sure it can import AVI. But between using Vdubs export sequence to image and Flashes export to AVI feature you might get the effect you want.

Ooh, thanks for the reply.

Well first of all I can get flash from ...dubious sources so that's not a problem. So, say I make a nice moving mouth sequence in flash okay I export that to avi, what do I do to overlay it onto my avi?

Hmm, seems to me like an avi synth task. sad.gif

Well, I'll give it a try.

It'd be nice if someone made a filter for this. I mean why not? It's only fill with colour in trianges with varying frames. The project continues....
