Keyframe Problem

I am using the DivX 5.0 codec and I have the settings at keyframes every 200 frames, but nomatter what I set it at my movies always have just 8 KF or keyframes stops at 1 min, movies are fine, but I 'would' like to have KF througout. How can I do this, I do a rekey and save with virtualdub, set video and audio to direct stream and save, by no change dry.gif

make sure to use DivX5.02 ....
