Hi, I'm new with VirtualDub.. please don't slap me. While processing a good quality DivX source file, VirtualDub will show a color drifting towards purple for all parts of the image that won't have much changes in one particular scene. As soon as the scene changes, the color gets reseted to normal, and then starts drifting towards purple again in those areas with non or little change... This goes for the Input and Output preview windows. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks! |

Questions: * Does the video look OK in Media Player? * Is it just one AVI file, or all DivX movies?
Also, upgrade to DivX 5.0.2 if you're using an older codec.

This is a bug existing in DivX 5.0.2. I'm not sure when it was introduced, but at least some older versions did not have it. So far, I've only seen it occur when compressing using VD. Haven't really tested, though, since I rarely use DivX. |
