Change Capture Channel, doesnt work with WinXP

Hi,

I am not able to set the right tv channel I want to capture under WinXP Pro.
Under WinME the only thing I had to do is to open a TV viewer, set the channel, close the application and then start virtualdub.
But under WinXP when I start virtualdub there is always the same channel set for capture, regardless my settings in the other tv programs.

any solutions or programs to fix this problem ?

I installed all drivers and applications for my hardware:
-Hauppauge Win TV PCI FM card
-Win TV 2000 application
-Virtualdub 1.4.10
