hi,
i hope i can find some help here. i recorded a video with my laptop-webcam via the capture function of virtualdub. i´ve done this several times before and never had any problems. but in this case i can´t watch the video correctly.
the video should be about 90 min. long, but i only can watch the first 40 sec. then the picture freezes but the sound continues. i googled a little bit and already tried divfix++ without success. now i read somewhere that virtualdub could solve the problem by saving the file again. i tried that and he did, but now it only saved the watchable 40 sec. without keeping the rest at all.
i am a total newbie when it comes to videos etc. so is there any way to save the rest of the video and make it watchable? i really could need some help
thank you! greetings! |

Probably it is a problem of which codec has been used when capturing/recording the video, and which decoder is being used when opening the video with VirtualDub.
You could once try to open your problem-video via the FFMPeg inputdriver for VirtualDub.
Please read more info about downloading, installing and using this driver in following thread: > http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...ST&f=19&t=22680 at 13/5/2014-09:39PM |
