Following the instructions at:

In SRTtoSSA_v1.0, I browsed to the SRT file for a movie, hit Convert.

A box appeared, saying:

Input File Error, subtitle #1

Clicked OK, box appeared saying Job Finished. A file was produced with an .ssa extension but the icon for it displays as generic white. And, it's only 4Kb compared to the 70kb of the SRT file.

Using subtitler-2_4 for VDub, I pointed to the .ssa file, and saved the original AVI as AVI (XVid MPEG-4 Codec).

The subtitles did not appear in the result. The problem seems to be with the SRTtoSSA_v1.0 conversion.

I need help please.

OP here. I switched to another Srt to Ssa converter, free to downllad: "Macallan Convert Srt To Ssa". It worked.
