Recently I've noticed that VD will not save a file that I've cut frames from when I save as a "direct stream copy" with no processing. I'm using the latest download. I also was able to do this previously. Please Help. Thanks kevin |

In direct stream copy mode you can only start a cut on a key frame If you pick something that isn't a key frame, it'll backtrack to the previous one
To cut at any frame, you need to use a different mode, select a compressor and save If you choose the same compressor and settings as the original uses, then you can use smart-rendering That will recompress the edit and then direct stream copy the rest as soon as it gets to a key frame
-------------
Key frames are where the video has a complete picture (other frames are just the changes from the all the previous ones) You can move back and forward between key frames with the two arrow buttons that have a key in the icon
