Hello!
I'm trying to open a video captured by BeholdTV with my TVTuner from VHS. It's an AVI, video is uncompressed, audio is PCM 48KHz. Everything is ok except for I'm having an error message about both streams (audio/video) having non-zero start pozition (+80ms video / +26ms audio). Will adding an audio delay of -54ms and resaving the file maintain an equal sync as before? Thanks! |

Myself I have not yet seen such a files, but if in the original AVI-file it is said that the video should start after 80ms and that the audio should start after 26ms, then I would also say that audio should have to start 54ms earlier than the video.
So, with the knowledge that VirtualDub will both move the video-track and the audio-track to the 'zero' start position: in VirtualDub's Audio-menu > Interleaving > Audio Skew Correction you will have to put a value of -54.
