I have the Osprey 220 capture board, and am able to use their VidCap32 application without problems. I was referred to VirtualDub, and loaded it into my system - however, I cannot find where you set it to capture frames.

The helpfile shows an older version with "Capture" in the menu area; but that isn't present in the latest version... I see you can "Capture AVI" from the File menu, but this seems to gather frames, not still shots.

Specifically, I'm interested in still-frame capture (at the highest resolution my board will support).

Thanks...

Hello,

well, Virtual Dub was basically designed to capture movies (actually animes tongue.gif), not still-frames. Maybe you can try to caputre a short time of video, then extract the frame you want.
