I have been meaning to ask this question for a long time now but always kept hoping that the next new release would fix the problem, but as of VirtualDub-1.10.0 the problem I am having still exists as follows.
When viewing the Input Video Pane in VDub all newer versions starting with v 1.9.4 have a white flash for a fraction of a second every time you start or stop the video. v 1.9.4 is not as severe as all following versions, but it is still not good. This is very distracting and makes it too uncomfortable to use newer versions. I have tried 3 different computers with WinXP and Win7 and the same thing happens on all of them. Is this a bug and can anything be done? I’ve been using VDub for years and love it. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
