I have searched VirtualDub help and haven't found anything on the topic of "sync to audio", though maybe I missed something. I am wondering whether "Sync to Audio" might result in dropped or repeated video frames, and also in what modes of operation of Virtualdub it is active and also, just what "sync to audio" does.

The Help would be more helpful if it had a list of the top menus, linking to the topic for each menu item. As things are now, it is necessary to search the Help to find topics related to an open menu item. There is an item for the main UI but it doesn't include the list of top menus. Or am I missing something here too?

The "sync to audio" option in the main edit mode has no effect on capture.
