Hi,

I'm planning on uploading a huge amount of videos on youtube so i installed virtualdub to cut my avi's in parts of 15 minutes (that is the maximum length of a video on youtube).

Is there any way to make to make to program run all my 100-200 files in a queue so they will each cut the files in lengths of 14minutes & 59 seconds? (They all have same fps so i need to cut them in parts of 26500 frames).

I know how to do this manually and it only takes about 30-60 seconds per file, but it's hard to do all of my files manually when i have over 100 to be processed!! I hope someone can help!!

You need to batch the Save Segmented AVI operation. There isn't a quick way to do this through the UI, so the best you can do there would be to open each file and hit File | Queue Batch Operation | Save Segmented AVI. Then again, if you're doing that, you might as well just let it run interactively since it won't take very long. There is a way you can create a batch script to do this but I suspect setting it up will take longer than just queuing them.

I have to ask, though -- do you really have more than 100 hours of video to upload? That's a lot of video.

I uploaded 310 video's to youtube yet smile.gif

I made a java app that generates a jobs list from avi files in a certain folder (with a given frames/Size per part). It took me some time to create it, but it'll save me some time for future uploads

Doesn't need a java app to do it, and was answered in your own thread
