Hello to All...

I've had VirtualDub for about two months... during that time I've had no problems... until lately. First let me tell you what I'm using... I have a Fuji E550 camera that will also take video... and for what I'm doing the video quality is perfect...

Sometimes I render an AVI without audio, and sometimes with the audio... When I render an AVI with audio sometimes it will be real jerky... but then other times it will be very smooth... it only happens when there is audio... never when I remove the audio...

What is happening? How can I fix this?

Huck

I've not touched any of the setting... so I guess whatever the default settings are is what I'm using. I just hit F7 and save as, and it does the rest... I'm not the geek type when it comes to this sort of thing... All I know is it was working and know I'm getting a jerkyness in the AVI's.

How large is an AVI in MB?

What speed is the CPU in your PC?

Thank you... that seemed to work... I looked at the video compression drop down menu and I dodn't know all that was there... I'm very thankful
