I was trying to copy the first 30 frames of a video and paste it onto the end, expecting the length of the entire video to increase by 30 frames.
But the "Paste" did nothing. I must be missing what paste is for. Anyone?
What I did was set selection start to frame zero, set selection end to frame 29, then "Copy", then move timeline position to end of video, then "Paste".
Is there a reason it doesn't make sense for paste to work like this?
thanks, ltg |

The reason this happens is because the Paste command, currently for better or for worse, also nukes the current selection if you have one. I designed it after selection in a text box, which does the same thing. I'm not sure if it's all that useful in a video timeline, though.... |
