Hello... forgive me if this is addressed elsewhere in the forums, however, after searching I found nothing in regards to my problem.
To put it plainly... I have converted .dvr-ms files (windows media center recorded video files) to mpeg2 files and then am editing them in virtualdub... it worked fine the first time... then I installed the lame mp3 codec... and I could no longer edit. Whenever I hit play, it reads "dub in progress" at the top of the screen, and I cannot use the slider bar to navigate around. I am presently using version 1.78 of virtualdub (great program btw!). Is there a way to clear all settings? I assume that there is a simply fix for this problem?
I tried to unistall the lame codec, but quite frankly was stumped.
All help would be appreciated.

Clearing VirtualDub settings is unlikely to solve your problem -- it sounds like the issue is the version of the Lame MP3 codec that you have installed. What happens if you temporarily uninstall it? If you don't know how, in Windows XP, it's Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Hardware, Audio Codecs, Properties, Properties. |
