Extracting Audio For A Vcd To Mp3, MP3 Codec

Hi,
I would like to know of how to rip audio from a VCD directly to MP3 formate. I right now convert it into WAV file and then do an other third party conversion to MP3. Thanks in advance.

not possible with VDub.

Hi,
Thanks for the info. Now i found in in one of the anouncement postings that the following codec an be installed.

Fraunhofer MPEG1layer3 ( MP3 ) - only if officially licensed !

Could you please tell me how this could be done?? Thanks for your help once again.

theres a sticky thread about it in the codecs forum. it involves installing WMP10 and adjusting the registry. look it up. smile.gif
