Hi, I mainly use Virtualdub (1.5.10 build 18160) to delete or mask bad frames in avi movies i've downloaded, then convert to svcd and watch on my tv. My problem is with the divx codec, i've used 5.02, 5.05 and currently 5.1.1 pro installed on my system, a p4 xp pro, vdub wont find any errors in files i've previously checked when divx 5.x is de-installed
and which contain bad frames. These movies use codec's other than divx 5.x. When I re-install divx 5.x and check an avi, which was encoded with this codec, I also find no bad frames in movies which do have bad frames, i.e. a glitch when I watch the movie followed
by audio out of sync. I also have a friend with a AMD xp system and he has the same problem. Any comment would be appreciated.
