Hello:
I have AC3ACM Decompresor installed on virtual Audio 1.5.10, my question is if I still need to separate the audio to Wav when i encode to mpge using tmpgenc.
The last movie that i encoded that had AC3 sound, (Avi file) VirtualDub tells me that sound is AC3 Decompresor, and after I checked for bad frames, i went to tmpgenc to encoded.
When i browse for the file of the movie, the video and audio (both) went to the output automatically, but after encoding, still is not sound
Help will be apreciated.
Thanks |

It's always a good idea when using TMPG to present the sound to it as an uncompressed wave file. |

I agree, but it still should have worked. You could try adjusting TMPGEnc's priorities under "Options / Environmental Setting / VFAPI plug-in." (Right-click on them to change them.)
Right now, all of mine are checked, and they all have priority 0, except "AVI2(OpenDML) File Reader" and "DirectShow Multimedia File Reader," which have priority -1. This arrangement works well for me.
