Hi, I just upgraded to DivX 5.0.3. I don't see any more DivX audio stereo compression I was regular to use. When using any other audio codec, including MP3, I get from a 960M file a 1056M file. I need some advises. Thanks |

Only the old, illegal crap codec DivX3 was coming with an audio codec, being another illegal hack, but of WMAV2 ...

MP3 is not suitable for 64 Kbps audio. You should use 128 Kbps at least, for good quality audio.
In case space is a problem for you, you could go with OGG/OGM which sounds nice at 64 Kbps, too (far better than that sh*tty DivX Audio/WMA).
The OGG DirectShow filters as well as some other tools can be found at doom9.org |
