Look at "How to use the external encoder feature" topic.

BTW
As an external encoder You can use 'standalone' command line encoders (such as official x264) - VfW framework is not used in this way, so You can't use x264vfw (unofficial version adapted for VfW).

Hi friend,
You'll have first to get the CLI edition of x264 available at their official website "x264.nl".

If you're not familiar with VirtualDub External Encoder Feature then you'll have to read the topic mentioned above. It will take you some time to figure how it works, but ones you've set your profiles up, everything will be automatic.

If you have any questions about x264 CLI settings then I'm ready to help. If you're not familiar with english, you can ask me in Arabic through private messages smile.gif
