Use the 'search' function here ( see on the top ) on the keywords 'decompressor' and 'dx50' ... there were a couple of other threads on this before IIRC ...

Visit the unofficial Virtualdub support forum on http://forums.virtualdub.org - help to reduce the big number of emails Avery Lee is getting every day !!
Support matroska as container and Gstreamer as the only truely open, x-platform multimedia platform ....

Hi ChristianHJW, sorry about the resurrection but this was the only thread that came up with a search of 'dx50' and the search found nothing when looking for 'dx50 decompressor'. I am having the same problem of course. TMPGenc can not open the file either so I suspect it is a codec problem. Could you direct me to the afformentioned threads? thx

You obviusly forgot to search in all forums, and to allow posts being displayed being elder than 30 days. Here is the performed search on 'dx50' :

http://virtualdub.everwicked.com/index.php...6&highlite=dx50

This thread will contain any info you need :

http://virtualdub.everwicked.com/index.php...b5686c897d5d107

If this fails try this :

http://virtualdub.everwicked.com/index.php...b5686c897d5d107

ok ?
