I have the Divx Alpha 2 player installed.
However, I can't play the divx encoded files in VirtualDub.
How do I get VirtualDub to use a certain codec?? Where do I download to install the codecs??
This is the error that I got.
--------------------------- VirtualDub Error --------------------------- Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable. --------------------------- OK ---------------------------

XVid Codec are different from DivX...
If your video are compressed with XVID codec you can download this codec from Internet (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html).
To use certain codec in VirtualDub, you can use VIDEO / COMPRESSION menů and appairs the codec you have installed in your PC.
Bye.
