Hello,

I have a file that was compressed with "Windows Media Audio V2".

VDub 1.6.19 will open/play Video but NO Audio.
VDub 1.7.2 will NOT open and says that codec is not available.

The File will play with Audio in Media Player 10 and Nero.

But I want to do some "fixin'".

How do I get this file to be recognized in VDub - with Audio?

That's strange -- VirtualDub doesn't check for an audio codec until you actually try to decompress the audio. Sure it wasn't a video codec error?

I have no idea why 1.7.2 wouldn't be able to open an audio stream that 1.6.19 could... I'd have to look at the headers.
