ogg cutter - for cutting parts of a ogm file
ogg demuxer - for extracting the streams from a ogm file
(if vdub mod can't do it use this to extract the streams)
matroska stream editor - for adding matroska streams
mkvmerge GUI - to select certain streams in a mkv and saving to a new file. Useful if vdubmod can't read your matroska because it has a non-text sub inside. Save with the subtitle de-selected as a new file. Also to decrease the file size by removing unwanted streams eg. japanese audio, french subtitles etc
Still looking for a MKV demuxer so I can extract vobsub subtitles (non-text) to edit them....................... |

you can't actually...but it's on to-do list of mkvtoolnix from Mosu.
