Hi all, I have installed version 1.9.11 for months and it works great. Now I would like to try the 1.10.1, to see what's new in it.
Before installing it (in another folder of course) could you please confirm there won't be any interaction between the 2 versions, ending in registry problems ? Because a lot of programs ask you to uninstall their old version before installing the new one...but I don't want to uninstall the stable version 1.9.11 !
One more thing : in case Avery Lee hasn't got time to read all forum topics, please send him my best salutations. He created a fantastic program, I use it frequently with avi files, to extract the audio, or to extract the movie without sound, to combine a movie and another soundtrack, or to delay the sound when not sync'ed with the image etc... It's super fast, efficient, doesn't reencode anything, what to ask for more, it's perfect |

Yes, you can run different versions of VirtualDub as long as you keep them in separate folders. Right now I have four versions of VirtualDub (including 1.9.11 and 1.10.1), plus one version of VirtualDubMod on my computer. I've never noticed any conflicts between them.
