I wanted and avi file to be 500 kbps and about 50 MB.

Instead, the result after 2-pass was over 900 kbps and 70 MB.

The bitrate I pick in (XviD) 2-pass settings is for the video only? So I add that with the audio codec for total?

How do I decide what bitrate I want after I have decided the size of the file?
Is it 'Preview Filtered'?
