If it's still issue with FM Screen Capture Codec, disable this codec used VCSwap.

If not, show new crash report.

BTW
Any sample file?

huh.gif
ffdshow it's DirectShow filter (audio/video decoder) and VfW wrapper (video decoder/encoder).

If not have installed ffdshow, then download and install it.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/

If have installed ffdshow, go to menu Start and search ffdshow configuration shortcuts.

In ffdshow VfW configuration (decoder tab) set support for VP6F and FLV1.

Menu Start > Run > C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe ff_vfw.dll,configureVFW

Of course if VFW interface installed (selected when install) and when ff_vfw.dll is in \windows\system32\ folder...

Reinstall ffdshow.

See ffdshow video codec in VirtualDub (Video > Compression...) or not?

You installed some codec packs before?
If yes, then maybe it installed ffdshow to other location and with unusual configuration...
