If I r-click an MPG file in a Windows XP folder and choose VirtualDub, I get an error message Can't open ""D:\Docs\My Pictures\PHOTOS\MovieSources\E-Swing-1.MPG"": The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

What's up here please? In particular, why those double double quotes?

I proceeded to close and re-open VirtuaDub 1.3c, and was then able to open the file using File|Open Video File.

Old versions of VirtualDub did not parse quoted filenames correctly on the command line. I couldn't reproduce the problem with 1.6.10.
