bad line bug/problem in VirtualDub-AMD64 or XviD 1.1 Beta 1 (64bit)
VirtualDub + XviD 1.1 Beta 1 (32bit) = sample_32bit.avi http://nwgat.net/wiak/sample_32bit.avi
VirtualDub-AMD64 + XviD 1.1 Beta 1 (64bit) = sample_amd64.avi http://nwgat.net/wiak/sample_amd64.avi
Filters used: 713x425 640x352 Resize ( Precise bilinear) Only

in the 64 bit version, can you export to uncompressed instead of XviD, and see if the lines appear there also. (yes, it will give a big file size, but is only for a test. )

i encoded it in XviD at ~10 mbps then encoded it to XviD at 1 mbps! and i get lines in 64bit but not in 32bit |

Are you saying the source before the resize is a 713x425 xvid avi? |

im assuming he cropped like that...
713x425 is definitely not a valid resolution for MPEG4

I know, that's why I'm asking for clarification on what the source clip is. I suspect it's a problem with xvid decompression but without more information I don't know where to look. |

Did you have interlaced encoding turned on in xvid for any of the encodes? |
