Weirdo vdub bug
test_file.avi 1116KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 5frames (K)
Open file
Video->Direct stream copy
File->Save segmented AVI...
Limit number of video frames per segment to 1 frames
Save
test_file_dsc1.00.avi 228KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 1frame (K) test_file_dsc1.01.avi 450KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 2frames (K) test_file_dsc1.02.avi 454KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 2frames (K) test_file_dsc1.03.avi 10KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 0frame (uh... no Key or delta frames... vdub can open this...)
If I limit the range to 4 frames and again segment to 1 frame avi's
test_file_dsc2.00.avi 228KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 1frame (K) test_file_dsc2.01.avi 450KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 2frames (K) test_file_dsc2.02.avi 232KB HUFFYUV2.1.1 1frame (K)
I know I tested this on the 1.4.x series as well with similar results Only difference is that test_file_dsc1.03.avi was not made in 1.4.x that I can remember.
Source and resulting files can be found here: test_files
This is tested on Windows 2000SP3, Athlon XP 1900+ |

While playing around some more with this, I found that you can make 0 frame avi's. Just load any avi, select all frames and delete, then save.
If there is any use at all for 0frame avi's I guess it's ok, but... should 0frame avis really be possible to save? |
