Hi!
I use Virtualdub for quite a while now and am often confronted with a small but annoying bug. Here's the story: Sometimes the video part is longer than the audio part due to synch problems, which means the audio cuts off e.g. 1 second before the video. If I attach another avi to the existing one, the audio of the second avi is directly appended to the audio of the first avi, resulting in a synch loss in the second part of the file. The workaround I used for this is to lengthen the audio part by inserting silence at the end of the first avi. However this involves playing around with an audio editor and extracting, editing and saving all over again. By the way, it's ok if the audio part is longer than the video. |
