Crashes Opening Some Avi's

When i try to open some of my AVi's Vdub crashes and gives me the same error.
An out of bounds (memory Access) occurred in module 'APMPGV41'

Im using the latest version, and help would be appreciated
Im wondering if this crash bug has anything to do with mpeg 4 and how i can go about fixing it?

I believe this is the infamous Angel Potion codec.
I'm surprised that anyone still have it as it's a big piece of junk. Badly hacked/cracked codec.
I suggest find a better codec.
