Crash Report - Was Using Wfm

I was using Trevlac's excellent WFM (waveform monitor) AKA Color Tools 1.5, which I had used in the somewhat distant past and had not used for some years. But when I use it now, I can get it to show the WFM in the output pane. But if I attempt to go back into the "Filters" to open this filter back up to reconfigure it, VirtualDub blows up before even getting back into the Filters area. And because this is Windows 7 (which interferes with the crash process), I can't give the normal full dump (that I know of). It merely gives this:
