When tryting to extract audio from known bad movie (it even plays wrong, about 1/10 of it's speed, as it sync to audio, that is ficked up), VirtualDub 1.10.3 crashed. Funny, even the app crashed after the crashreport, lol...

But there is presumably a little point of bugreport, when the audio is known to be buggy, right?

But for fun, included the report:

Yeah... not a lot of point really :-)

The crash is a division by zero error in DivXa32 (which itself is a really, really old hacked version of msofts codecs)
Either way, there's no fix

All you can do is try various workarounds hoping one will work. Trying different codecs if possible, different versions directshow/vfw if possible, seeing if something like ffmpeg can decode it........

MultiAdjust JoinWav WavNormalize FFMPeg Input Plugin v1827 UnSharpMask
Windows7/8 Codec Chooser
All FccHandlers Stuff inc. Installers for acm codecs AAC, AC3, LameMp3
