Based on the error message, it looks like you have an AVI-file with video that is FMP4-encoded.

or you can install the FFInputdriver plugin for VirtualDub: - http://code.google.com/p/ffinputdriver/downloads/list
When you open the AVI (FMP4) in VirtualDub, I suppose you will have to select 'DirectShow input driver' or 'FFMPeg Supported Files' at" Files of type" in the Open Video file dialogbox of VirtualDub, before clicking on the Open-button. |
